Philly Free Streets 2018
After those who didn’t flee the city during the Pope-pocalypse in 2015 shared how much they actually enjoyed Philly’s car-less streets, the city listened.
In 2016, the first edition of Philly Free Streets closed South Street from Broad to University City. Last year, the route wound its way from Fairhill to Old City. This year’s edition closed four miles of Broad Street, from City Hall to Erie Avenue in North Philly.
