The Art of the Brick

The Art of the Brick - a collection of the artwork of Nathan Sawaya made exclusively from Lego bricks - is the largest display of Lego art ever. Incorporating reimaginings of art masterpieces (including Van Gogh’s Starry Night, Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, Whistler’s Mother and many more) as well as original pieces and an entire gallery where Sawaya’s art was incorporated into photography by Dean West, this exhibit is a definite highlight of a visit to Philadelphia and the Franklin Institute.

Daytime tickets cost $43 (adults) and include the full Franklin Institute; night tickets are solely for the Art of the Brick and cost $20 (adults). Weeknights and weekday afternoons are your best bet to visit while avoiding crowds and school groups. Get tickets here.
